Our journey began when we saw just how challenging everyday elder care can be. That’s when Anvayaa was born; India’s first elder care platform with dedicated care companions and concierges, leading the way toward a truly senior-friendly nation.

Elder care was still a new idea in India, so we decided to lead the way. This year, we proudly represented elder care at the UN (the only organisation to do so in India). We also cared for 500+ seniors and shared our vision with angel investors. With their support, we raised our 1st round funding and began expanding across India.

The year of the pandemic, when lockdowns hit and worries grew. But even then, we didn’t stop. We helped over 5,000 COVID patients, grew to three major cities including Chennai and Bangalore, and gave unlimited assistance to 7,000+ elders when they needed us most.

After the pandemic, everyone realized how vital elder care is, and many new elder care facilities started emerging. But this didn’t slow us down. We kept moving forward, kept bringing fresh ideas like (1) integrating AI to build our dementia care app which offers personalized support to each elder’s needs (2) and launching Nischinth, a family care benefits program for companies that truly care about their employees. Also this year, we expanded to 38 cities and proudly supported 20000+ elders across India.

As we expanded to 38 cities across India, we noticed a major gap: most elders had to call us before we could help. But what if they couldn’t? What if they needed help but couldn’t reach us? That’s when we decided to build an unprecedented solution. A smart senior watch. Now, proudly patented by the Government of India, it tracks health 24/7 and instantly alerts our team the moment something’s wrong.

You see, we’ve come a long, long way… expanding our reach across India to support elders, spotting the challenges they face, and creating groundbreaking solutions in the elder care space. And, this same spirit of care and innovation will guide us in the years ahead.

Birth Of Anvayaa

Anvayaa began as a personal challenge. Today, it’s a nationwide mission.

Our founder, Prashanth Reddy, spent many years living abroad, far from his parents. During that time, he often felt helpless… unable to be there when they needed him the most. He soon realised he wasn’t alone. Many of his friends and family living overseas faced the same challenge. But he also discovered that the real issues went beyond just medical care. “I had a feeling,” Prashanth says, “that elders needed more than just healthcare.” In 2015, he surveyed over 400 families in India… and his instincts were right.

Beyond healthcare, seniors needed safe transportation, emergency support, help with daily chores, and above all, companionship to ease their loneliness. The other founders faced similar struggles. Prashanth Patkar, then working as a consultant in Australia, found it difficult to care for his parents from afar. Deepika Reddy also experienced similar worries closer to home.

These shared challenges inspired the founding team to start anvayaa in 2016.

Today, anvayaa is a holistic elder care platform that offers personalised support for daily needs, emotional well-being, 24/7 medical assistance, and more… with one clear goal: to bring peace of mind to families and help seniors live independently.

Our Founder, Managing Director

Prashanth Reddy is the founder and managing director of anvayaa. With over 34 years of experience, he led big teams at TCS and was the CEO of AP Online, a project with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He’s always been great with tech. But what really drove him was a personal dream: to make life better and easier for seniors in India.

Deepika Reddy

Our Co-Founder

Deepika Reddy is the Co-founder and Director at anvayaa. She has over 17 years of experience working in big insurance companies as a senior underwriter. With an MBA and CFA from ICFAI, she ensures anvayaa’s elder care services are safe, reliable, and well-managed.

Prashanth Patkar

Our Co-Founder

Prashanth Patkar, Head of Strategy & Growth at anvayaa, brings 12+ years of experience in strategy, growth, and operations. With an MBA from Australia and over 5 years at Deloitte, he heads the growth at anvayaa, focusing on improving elder care accessibility across India.

Tripti Singh Balaji

Tripti Singh Balaji is an experienced leader with over 15 years in training and customer success. She’s certified in Alzheimer’s and dementia care from the University of Tasmania and the Royal College London. Tripti’s passionate about helping people with dementia and loves using tech to make the customer experience better.

Venkateshan K

Venkateshan is the Head of Operations at anvayaa, with over 20 years of experience in backend operations and process improvement. He’s worked with top financial institutions, making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Chandramoulieswara Reddy

Chandramoulieshwara Reddy is Head Business for Large Financial Institutions and Corporates at anvayaa. He has 12+ years of experience in insurance and business growth. During these years, he led big business deals, shaped smart strategies, and built strong strategies and partnerships of anvayaa with big corporate firms.

Venkata Shiva Reddy

Shiva Reddy heads the Insurance SBU at anvayaa and brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance world. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including HDFC Life. With all that know-how, Shiva is helping us build smart, reliable insurance solutions which truly support elder care.
